Oh happy day!  On March 5, 2018, I accepted a contract to produce my first audio book.  I'm now in production. The book is titled "Coyote Alibi".  A lighthearted mystery by a pair of experienced writers, Dennis and Jena Burges.  I could not have a better team to work with on my first narration project. This is their first publication of an audio book, so we've been learning together.  They are such gracious people, and I look forward to working with them on the sequel this summer.  That's right, this book is the first in a new series! I have had so much fun voicing the characters, and just thoroughly enjoying the read.  I must say there have been times when I had to stop recording because I kept laughing, the dialogue is so fun!
Set in a small town on the edge of the Navajo Nation, the series is about a rookie paralegal Naomi Manymules, and Grant Carson, a middle-aged, cynical, handsomely scruffy, reluctant attorney, and tough ex-prosecutor from Phoenix.
Think Janet Evanovich meets Tony Hillerman – and wins the coin toss for final edit.

WHAT'S NEXT?
In May I'll be working on a book by Marguerite Ashton. I'm excited to have the opportunity to produce "Promised Lies (A Dective Blanchette Mystery Book 1)"

    Hi I'm Renee
I am a native Oregonian, and am blessed to live in the beautiful Willamette Valley, in Eugene.  Go Ducks!!
I have been a lover of books my whole life. I became aware of audio books when I was working at a job that required a 1 hour commute one way.  That was back when they were on cassette tapes!  I loved sitting in my cozy car with my latte and listening to mysteries.  Since then I have wanted to be an audio book narrator.  In 2016 circumstances provided a crossroads for me, and I decided to take the road not previously traveled. Now I'm thrilled to be doing what I love.
I have a 21 year old son, two tortoise shell cats, and one dog who is CRAZY.  Never a dull moment.
